Knowledge Centre- Library

One of the main goals of the library is to provide materials that enrich and support the curriculum, stimulate growth in factual knowledge and literary appreciation, and promote pleasure reading. Therefore, we continually make sure that our books appeal to a variety of interests, abilities, and backgrounds.

Libraries allow children to ask questions about the world and find the answers. And the wonderful thing is that once a child learns to use a library, the doors to learning are always open.

Here at Delhi Public School Mahendra Hills our library apart from being a well-stocked traditional library we provide an extra edge which includes activities that help inculcating the reading habit.

Toy library

The “Toy library” in Pre Primary is where fun, creativity and play are valued and promoted.  It supports child’s skill development and imagination. The aim is to create a safe environment for play where free choice is encouraged; also to meet and socialize with other children where they learn the importance of sharing and taking turns. The child’s self confidence increases as they enjoy and master different toys, puzzles and games.

The two main focuses of a TOY LIBRARY service are generally RECREATION and EDUCATION.
